NOTE: in this alternate history, Aang wasn't found for a longer period of time. He stayed young, while the world grew older, and the fire nation turned into a fire Empire.

On Zhao's ship now, and Zuko has to play along. If Zhao truly believes he's killed uncle, better not raise suspicions.

I'm sorry of the next few pages are still a bit wordy. It should diminish by the time we reach the final confrontations.

Don't know if you mentioned this before but...how did they find a substitute for dead Iroh? And who is it?

Zhao hunted Iroh - one of his leads was that there were quite a few refugees of all nation at the North Pole. Once there, he did find an old man that fit rather well his memory of the old general...and brought that poor stranger down.
Some water tribe people also tried attacking his ships (the fools), so he just made them prisoners.

Yes, Zhao is so full of himself and his superiority, he deserves the fruits of his own stupidity.
Bottom right "I don't now how long ago you cut your ties with him. [the "have" is not necessary, but your choice].
And the term is "pay your respects" [plural]. D.
