Aright, First Comment I ever make. Excellent Comic, I love the coloring, and the Pitch focus. Sad to see this be the last one, glad for Scans_Daily for introducing me to this. Only problems: I'd like to have seen the boy's death and what happened to that monster. I loved Pitch's more regal design, and how at the tail-end, he's in his more movie design. Excellent work.
I absolutely love these comics you draw. They're fantastic - the storylines and the art. Wonderful job. I imagine someday you will be creating your own comics/graphic novels/mangas, and I will be in line to buy them.
That proves that Kozmotis Pitchiner was destined to become Pitch Black, because if he were to never become the darkness, the balance of the universe would collapse, bringing an end to everything. That's why the Guardians had to stop him.
Wait a minute... maybe Pitch's destiny to become what he is now was planned by the Man In The Moon. He must've foreseen it, explaining the real reason why Pitch was guarding the Fearlings, who then corrupted him. If Pitch knew that it was true, it would certainly drive him into complete hatred.
You might say he copied the "data" and the powers of North's globe to transfer it to his own. (actually, during early development, there were one or two reasons why Pitch had a globe in his lair- one of the latest was that he copied North's globe and that's the version told in the commentaries...I just played with other ideas thrown around, but not finals).
Ahh what a lovely conclusion to this Pitch series!
It's sad you won't get to explore his story anymore, he's such a wonderful character and the way you draw him is beautiful, but I imagine there's a lot of work you must do and more topics for you to pursue, which is also cool.
I love the way you drew him so gaunt and rangy in the beginning, as though he were malnourished from lack of fear, which he probably is. The wide range of his expressions, how they change as he realizes his power and cooks up his plan *sigh*
Thanks again for your lovely insight into this amazing character!
