Intermezzo H. P.07 by rufftoon Intermezzo H. P.07 by rufftoon
Getting darker and darker.

As a side note: I will always keep divided Book Pitch and Movie Pitch’s past. I worked over a year with these characters before the books came out. They evolved differently in my head.

That being said, I do love the books and can’t wait to see where the author will take us.

Pitch belongs to Dreamworks.

I even don't have enough words to describe my admiration of you! You are the most awesome artist I've ever seen!! And the greatest Pitch is yours. He's really gorgeous!)) Wish I ever could to draw like you do))))

Actually, that's true I can't put together the Pitch of the books with the movie one,
it's not only the design but something else, their personality maybe.

There is a strong feeling within the fandom that the movie's canon is strikingly different and non-linear to the book-canon. While it would be interesting if the movie and book were able to be linked, I would place my support on the comics coupled with the movie, and the book to be a separate canon. I enjoy fan fictions which choose one or the other and create wondrous tales strictly with their own version of the tale, and I adore that. As I adore this.

Thank you!
Always fun to see people trying to mix in book and movie verse together, or not. I personally stay away from the book verse and its history, as the author is still building upon the world. Even when he will be done, I don't think I'll ever mix the two.

I believe three significant events mark the difference between the books and the movie. Dropping Aster's coat and changing much of his form, changing Pitch's backstory, and the suspicious time-gap that has yet to be explained between the books and the movie. The time-gap will be the clincher for being unable to connect the books and movie, I believe, but combined with the other details, the movie surely becomes a completely separate canon from the books. Which is good in that respect, as I do like both stories.
