Old Hills 02 by rufftoon Old Hills 02 by rufftoon
Well, "Old Hills" seem to speak a bit more to Jack than the Moon ever did.

Jack Frost (this version) belongs to Dreamworks.

Really love the color scheme, like the most vivid thing is kind of an ugly dull color if it went with any actually bright colors haha??

So, Old Hills is a 'chirei' (Japanese term for land spirit')?

He sounds like a nice guy.

Yup, he'd be the equivalent.

I gotta thank Shin Megami Tensei and Ghost Hunt for introducing me to that term.

I absloutely LOVE the clouds! They really give you the scene of how ancient and eternal the "Old Hills" and the earth are when compared to things such as the bison-or buffalo-in the panel. It shows how much longer they have been there. Such a small detail can say so much which is why I love this comic well that and the beauty of it. I can't really think of the words that would do these comics justice! I'll just say that I loved it and I can't wait for more to come!

I've always wondered how animals would react to the spirits. Would they need to believe in them as well? Or is it the strength of humanities belief strong enough to influence how animals see and understand the world?
