Old Hills 03 by rufftoon Old Hills 03 by rufftoon
When I had done the early draft a few months ago, with mentions of the "Tornado Twins", I was remembering what some storm chasers were saying about tornadoes and their "behaviours".
A few weeks later, storm chaser Tim Samaras and others of his team met their demise from a tornado that rapidly changed direction.
:(

"Is nature a conscious thing or a set of circumstances" (from the documentary "The End Of Time")

Jack Frost (this version) belongs to Dreamworks.

And people wonder why I'm a lilapsophobe.  From here on out, I'll just show them this page.

Living in Arkansas, I have seen my fair share of tornados, and now I know who to blame!! Thank you!

So, one twin on the ground, the other in the sky?

Cold air and hot air, one closer to the ground than the other.

Ah, right.  That's always how it starts.  Seems they're still hard at work today...

I wonder how these two communicate. Howling winds? Singing?

That actually sounds pretty cool, in a Symphony of Destruction kind of way.

Maybe like Old Hills, through a sort of "speaking".
Or maybe just howling winds, ha ha!

I like the idea of the wind and the breezes being the Tornado Twins' language. The hail and the heavy rain are for emphasis. The throwing of debris is an art form.
