I think I like this determined Pitch better than the slithering, sneaky Pitch of the movie who avoided direct confrontation (unless it was in his favor and he set the stage). The Pitch in the movie seemed to mirror Scar from the Lion King, and the Pitch of the Dark Ages was much more confident. Foolish in that respect, as he overestimated his own power, but expected as he had few problems until then.
I don't even know how to thank you for being so amazing. It's just WOW. Pitch was my most favourite guy from The Rise of the Guardians. And I was a bit miffed that the end of the movie was all merry and happy go round child's playing to defeat him. It kind of ruined it for me. But now, I'm so pleased for this kind of webcomic. It's just how I've imagined Pitch's acts and etc. Please please make it a habit and make more and more and MOAR of those wonderful pages.
O_O I just read all three installments and... MY GOD DO I LOVE YOU. This is awesome, you</b> are awesome. Just, you're art is so full of feeling and has such amazing impact. I love it. And your story is beautiful! It unfolds so well. TAKE MY FEELINGS OF LOVE.
what sort of classes or rather...HOW did you learn to do these large panels with landscapes, battles, and zoom-outs? I really look up to you, and I would like to do similar stuff to what you do, but I can't seem to completely grasp landscaping...:C
Fortunately, I go to a liberal arts university, so there shall be plenty of opportunity for classes...but...I was wondering how you took your inspiration and came up with a large cohesive image.
Many thanks! I...don't really have a specific technique. I just try to think about composition (which I sometimes fail at): how to define the space. Also, learning not to be afraid to make things small. Keep some reference pictures for inspiration, including landscapes.
This is so awesome! Tooth is such a brave warrior to take it alone against Pitch! I love the whole story, the fighting scenes and Pitch's fierce try to stand up against the guardians. You draw the movements so well and the facial expressions are so intense.
