The ideas for these are...well...whatever pops into my mind. There not what you'd call deep or meaningful, but what the hey. I need to get these silly thoughts out of my head, and stick daemons are perfect for that.
inked with a Faber Castell Pitt Pen brush, and some touch up with micron pens. Lettering by compute because I don't like my own hand lettering. Na.
Ah, that would be beaky. They don't really have names, they just call each other from certain traits of their appearances. I'm certain he'd like to be called "devil mantis" from now on. Ha!
As a side note, comic artist Michel Gagné has characters very similar to them...call it a weird effect from the global meme, cause these characters of mine are more than 15 years old now...okay, feeling old all of a sudden...and I'm certain Michel developped his own without ever seeing them. I tell ya, they are roaming a few people's heads!
Micron pens are awesome. Once again, I like how the "lines of motion" come through very energetically here. I like how you drew the rocks too. I love the presentation of the shovels coupled with the dawning realization that there really is somewhere else to go besides up.

I can't express how much I love your linework. Does so well even without color. Has weight and depth. I'm starting to get into line quality in my drawing class and your gallery is becoming a nice inspiration.
