Deviousness |
1: Poor bending. (As evidence with the lone rock) there was so much movement, flipping and spinning, yet weak bending. Only the fire benders got it remotely right.
2: Bad (and I mean bad) acting. Seriously, might as well put wooden planks with their faces painted on them up there instead.
3: Appa and Momo are hardly included. All you see is quarter view shots or distance shots of them, never straight on. It's as if they weren't really involved with the story.
4: extremely rushed. I can understand not being able to include everything (it is the entire first season in one after all), but the montage of their adventures just killed it for me. It was like "Here's all the things you're missing out on, but we won't/cant explain them."
I could go on.
All in all, I give it a 1 out of five stars. If you haven't seen the original series, you might get a kick out of it. If you love the show, you might not want to take the time to watch it.
Still, this is my opinion. You don't have to take my word for it. Sorry, just had to rant
The world may never know.
Also, no. No you can not dodge the rock. its a heat sensing rock. and since you cant -make- something for it to follow...run little firebender! run! XD

I took a storyboarding class back in high school. I think I learned more in this piece than I did in that whole class.
