There is still unreasonable fear, even in the modern world it's just that it's been delineated out into phobia, paranoia, and trauma we are still afraid of each other and even adults can become scared.
Oooooh lordy! HAHA! I love how you always write about the bad guy XD your drawings are amazing man, so much movement in even still frames, it's like reading an animation, I LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! And I dunno how you go to work and draw all day then come home and draw all night XD I get home and I'm like "I don't wanna look at the computerrrrr!!" do you guys work 50hrs a week or is it usually more? Our's is 50 standard then 60+ is official overtime :S
Just finished reading all your lovely Pitch comics! ...And man...I like them...I'm not sure if you've read the books...But I see more of the book Pitch in these...And, as much as I ADORE the movie, I love the books even more.
I like that you are moving forward in time...I can't help but be curious as to what Tooth was going to say about the boy in the last one though....Maybe that's because I don't like unfinished sentences. xD'
Anywho. Can't wait to see more. Love your art and writing! *thumbs up*
Happy new year! I like your style a lot and I'm happy that I'm not the only one who care about our poor Pitch. His life is so lonely and misery, he could be helped not hated ( even if he has an horrible and annoyng temper ) š_š
This is facinating. There is an excess of Jack fanart and comics. It's nice to see something for Pitch that is... so very in character. Wonderful job on the artwork as well as the little bit of monologue. I really like this. It's the kind of fancomic that makes one think.
All this strips I just have no words for them, they're wonderful, detailed insights and I just....gah! it still isn't enough praise, I lack the vocab to praise you well enough. Then there's Pitch, he's just wonderful anyway ^^
Great comic. I like this theory that fantasy creatures disappear 'cause they're forgotten by everyone.
Tho last panels are a bit hard to read. I kept reading it as 'Enough, there are children to scare .... not just to humans.... but to each others' and it confused the heck out of me. I assume it needs to be read as 'Enough, there are children to scare ... perhaps, that is how we disappear. Invisible, forgotten ... not just to humans.... but to each others'. Or am I wrong?
"not just to humans...but to each other" is a continuation of "invisible. forgotten." (you can see it's in that same sort of grey speech bubble) which are his thoughts. "enough, there are children to scare" is him talking to himself.
Hmm... Interesting, I like the tone this one has. It's a lot different from the previous three, which were all a lot more...action-y, for lack of better word, and less introspective. I like this take on Pitch's thoughts of the developing world. >w<
this made me think how sad the attempt to be remembered is. That gargoyle, a stone object that will last generations was made by someone and was probably well known... but over a few short generations, it remains, yet its as if it never were.
I haven't seen the movie (yet), but I read all of your comics. I always think it is brilliant how you manage to convey a story, a thought, a feeling in so little pages. One gets caught right up into the scene. LOVE it.
