What, not Avatar? Could it be??

This comic was done two years ago for the "Zowie Volume 2, Tales Of Tiki Terror" anthology.
The characters were originally created during a 24 hour comics challenge, except for the Stick Daemons who have been around since college and just do a cameo appearance.

I use photoshop: I take the oval marquee tool, stretch it to desire shape then use the stroke command in the sub menu. The tail of the balloon is done with the pen tool to give it a nice smooth shape.

I really, really love the shape of the hoodie. It makes him look cute and evil at the same time. O_o

Cute and evil conquers the world (at least, that's what he's going for ;) )
Thanks!

I find your interview on character design's blog, and I must tell you, why not to post more of your non-avatar work? Don't get me wrong, I love your avatar stuff, its like seeing the show (visually and charater, I love Iroh's tea party and earth king's tale in the mag) but at the same time something different in an awesome way... but your other work just rocks!

Sorry for the long post! :)

Oh my, never apologise for a long post- I'm flattered you took the time to write all this.
Posting other material can be...iffy. A lot of what I do is day time work, and I could run into legal trouble posting these. The Horus project (points to icon), I'd prefer if most of it mostly existed on paper form. Posting too many personal material on the web can be hard to manage. You never know where it will end up.
Or maybe I'm just an old, silly paranoid person.

being a silly paranoid person seem like the best choice for me...
The Horus Project, its Canada-only?
