As we're all waiting for the rest of season 3 of Avatar to air, I think I have found one of the reasons for the delay- there was a swap and Sokka has been messing with the original Avatar production schedule!
Anyone familiar with animation productions will recognise the chart used to keep track of production- they pretty much look the same at every studios-
