I've been having some trouble connecting to DA from home. At first glance, it seems to be caused by some wonky firewall setting. Still trying to fix that, as it makes updating journals and replying to messages a real pain.
I wanted to thank
Looks like 2010 will be a busy year on my end. I don't know how often I'll be able to post to DA. *sigh*
Stuff to look forward to:
"HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON" will hit theaters at the end of March. I haven't seen it completed, so I am looking forward to see how much of my work on it has survived and what it will look like in the final version, ha ha!
"The Last Airbender" movie trailer should premiere during the Superbowl, Feb. 7th.

Not only does it offer an epic storyline, engaging characters, action, adventure, and a powerful message about the importance of hope in a world long-besieged by war, all the while serving up top-notch entertainment. It's also beautifully executed, a stunning masterpiece of animated storytelling that harmonizes Western influences with aesthetic inspiration drawn from a diverse array of cultures, including those of China, Japan, India, and the Inuit.
An unprecedented look at the concept, design, and production art behind this smash-hit series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Art of the Animated Series chronicles the show's developmentfrom the very first sketch through to the series finale and beyond!along with behind-the-scenes commentary from series creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino.
Featuring hundreds of images, most of which Nickelodeon has never released to the public!
Now to try and do some art for my personal projects.

Ah, I'm so excited for 'How to Train Your Dragon' too! ^V^' I've been watching the second trailer over and over on youtube like a dork; the story in the original book is cute, but I'd really like to see how it's translated onto the big screen. And I'm a sucker for dragons :3 I've already pretty much decided that I'm getting a Toothless plushie if it ever appears on the market. Not to mention, you worked in it, and another of our fellow deviants was a director! ^v^ That doesn't happen every day!
OH and *stakes out at bookdepository to try to get artbook* This site usually gets them for me because it loves me :3 Here's hoping!
Avatar is such a well done show and seeing your and other people's work done for the show makes me excited as much! So i can't wait for the whole art (well.. obviously not everything will be in it....)
Oooo traaiilleeerr! *fingers crossed* and yes an OST release would be amazing, especially love the music while the credits are rolling <3

working with chris was great fun. He did amazing work, considering he had about just a year to make it.
