Been a while since I updated ye olde journal here. Been busy with getting used to the new job. Still need a bit of time, hopefully I'll kick in high gear soon.
Now I can mention what it is: we're working on a tv serie based on the Penguins from the Dreamworks' film "Madagascar". It is a fun, very humourous project, and very different from Avatar. Still can't get Avatar out of the head that easily though.




I must apologise for not posting here this much. Always hard to juggle work and freetime. Plus, I have been kidnapped by Zhao. He's slowing me down, forcing me to do one Avatar AU over another (I WILL finish the one that's posted in the scraps section).




Started this monster Zhao thing as comic practice- layout, storytelling and all. And it just grew and grew and grew and AUGH!

Two good words for
Dave Roman, editor at Nick magazine, has posted a very good and informative advice post for aspiring comic artists. Also good for people already working, as we don't always hear what is happening on the other side of comic making: the editing!
Advices also extremely good for any artistic job that demands working with a creative team:

Also, Dave wrote a superb comic called Alien Circus, illustrated by the very talented L. Frank Weber. The story is available on the web, and well worth the read. It has a very very nice European flavor to it.
