Sad news

Tue Aug 24, 2010, 2:32 PM
First it was rumours, now it is confirmed: Japanese director Satoshi Kon has passed away at the age of 47.

He was at the helm of some of my favorite animes: Millenium Actress, Tokyo Godfather, Paprika.
He still had so may stories left to tell. He will be sorely missed.

Addendum: just putting a link to the intro to his great television series Paranoia Agent

So as not to end on a totally dark note, a big thank you to everyone with their DA BDay wishes.
Thank you, it was appreciated. I wish I'd had the time to reply to everyone.

Millineum Actress has been my biggest influence with story telling, pacing, plot, almost everything. Too much talent is lost with his death.
