First, this weekend (April 18-20) is the NEw York Comicon, and there's going to be loads of Avatar stuff happening!
First:
NICK MAG PRESENTS…AVATAR COMICS & FANDOM SPOTLIGHT
Friday at 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM in ROOM 1E08
We're talking fan work, fancomics, Avatar comics, AMVs and the whole lot of artistic creations by the Avatar fans. There are gems out there, and it's time to share the goodness. There will also be audience participations, trivia bending and a lot more, so come one come all! Kids of all ages are welcome. I'll be present, along with Nick magazine editor Dave Roman and writer-artist Alison Wilgus.
I may not be able to answer a lot of questions about the show, or tell when it is going to air on Nick again...cause I really don't know!
But all (or at least most of) your Avatar episodes info thirst will be quenched on the next day:

Mike and Bryan will be there, with previews and trailer of upcoming episodes and the finale. Definitely the Avatar panel fans are waiting for.

Flight Explorer is a new anthology with short stories, geared towards an all ages audience. For kids young and old.
I'll be hanging around with the fine folks of the Comics Bakery all weekend, booth 2247 in the small press section. Dave Roman, Raina Telgemeier, Marion Vitus, Kean Soo and John Green will also be present. Plenty of comic goodness awaiting you at the table!

On a serious note, a friend of mine Emru Townsend needs a bone marrow transplant. Emru has been highly active in the animation communities for many years and people are rallying to try and find someone compatible, but it isn't that easy. Not many people are registered with the Bone Marrow registry, and it is as important as giving blood. Think of registering, making a donation, or spread the word around. On another note - one of the amv makers that I subscribe to on youtube has announced that one of her vids will be shown at the con. ^_^ That's soooo cool. But she has even better amvs in her collection, in my opinion. I can post a link if you'd like to see?
